H.I.G. Capital portfolio company SIAT Group bought a 50% stake in US-based Combi Packaging Systems from 3M, with terms undisclosed.

US packaging materials and equipment provider Shorr Packaging moved into a new facility in the Los Angeles area to meet growing regional demand. It will serve customers in the Inland Empire, Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.
