SMT, part of Pattern Group, signed a binding investment agreement to acquire 100% of Umbria Verde Mattioli S.r.l., an Italian luxury knitwear manufacturer based in Umbria. The acquisition strengthens Pattern Group's position in the luxury knitwear sector.

Umbria Verde Mattioli shareholders signed a binding agreement to sell 100% of the capital to Società Manifattura Tessile S.r.l. (SMT), a subsidiary of Pattern S.p.A., for a price of 20 million euros. The closing is expected by June 2024.

Burberry announced plans to acquire a specialist technical outerwear factory from Pattern SpA in Turin, Italy, for €21 million. Approximately 70 Pattern employees will join Burberry upon completion, expected later in 2023.

Società Manifattura Tessile (SMT), part of the Pattern Group, has acquired 100% of Nuova Nicol, a luxury knitwear manufacturer based in Calderara di Reno, Bologna, for EUR 6 million. The acquisition adds Nuova Nicol's 20 employees and expertise in women's knitwear to SMT's operations.
