Voith Turbo completed a $5.8 million expansion of its workshop in York, Pennsylvania, adding 10,000 square feet. The expansion will allow the company to work on rail components and increase capacity to meet Buy America compliance requirements.

Voith Group is investing nearly $25 million in its Voith Hydro and Voith Turbo facilities in York, Pennsylvania. Voith Hydro is investing almost $20 million to install new machine tools for hydropower manufacturing, and Voith Turbo is investing $5 million to add 10,000 square feet for rail industry manufacturing.

Suzlon Energy approved the sale of its 75% equity holding in subsidiary Suzlon Generators Ltd to Voith Turbo Pvt Ltd or its associates, expected to close by September 30, 2021.
