BontexGeo Group

Waterland acquired a majority stake in BontexGeo, a leading supplier of geosynthetics products headquartered in Zele, Belgium. The existing management team stays on board and reinvests alongside minority shareholder Adfil NV.

Nimbus sold its majority stake in BontexGeo Group, a manufacturer of geosynthetic technical textiles, to Waterland Private Equity. BontexGeo generates roughly €100 million in revenues with production sites in Belgium, Hungary, France, Switzerland and the UK, and employs over 300 people.

BontexGeo Group acquired 100% of shares in ABG Ltd., a UK-based geosynthetics manufacturer, on April 23, 2021. ABG will continue operating under its own name.
