Sabena Aerospace and SFPI-FPIM formed Blueberry, which acquired 96.85% of SABCA from Dassault Belgique Aviation, creating a Belgian aerospace ecosystem.

The Belgian Competition Authority approved the acquisition of Sabena Aerospace Engineering and SABCA by Sabena Aerospace and SFPI on June 16, 2020.

Dassault Belgique Aviation has agreed to sell its 96.85% stake in SABCA to a new joint venture company to be established by Sabena Aerospace and SFPI/FPIM for EUR 74.57 million. The transaction is subject to merger control approval and expected to close at the end of Q2 2020.
