Sinochem

Luxi Chemical, a Sinochem subsidiary, announced the expansion of polyamide 6 and caprolactam production in Liaocheng, Shandong, China, as part of a 3.3 billion CNY project.

Chinese state-owned firms Sinochem and ChemChina are expected to combine their plastics assets in a merger, forming a large chemical company.

Sinochem completed the acquisition of Elix Polymers, a Spanish producer of ABS resins and derivatives, from Sun European Partners for an enterprise value of EUR 195 million.
