Renesas

Renesas completed its acquisition of Integrated Device Technology (IDT), making IDT a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal combines Renesas' microcontrollers and SoCs with IDT's RF, timing, and sensor solutions.

Japanese semiconductor firm Renesas announced a deal to buy California-based IDT for $6.7 billion in cash, expected to close in the first half of 2019, to strengthen its presence in industrial and automotive segments.
