Danobat

Danobat announced the acquisition of Dutch company Hembrug Machine Tools, which specializes in precision hard turning technology. Hembrug had a turnover of over EUR 14 million in 2018.

Danobat, a Spanish machine tool manufacturer, acquired Dutch precision hard turning company Hembrug Machine Tools. The acquisition was announced on September 16, 2019 at EMO Hanover.

SORALUCE invested €9 million in a new production plant called Portal Factory in Bergara, Spain, with a surface area of 4,900 m2, for manufacturing large gantry-type machines.

CMS, Turkey's largest aluminium wheel manufacturer, is building a new 38,000 m² plant in Izmir with an investment of over €90 million, expecting to reach an output of 12 million wheels by 2022.

Ukrainian steel pipe producer Interpipe announced a $14 million investment to add a new threading line for OCTG with premium connections at its Interpipe NTRP mill in Dnipro. The line will have a capacity of 70,000 mt per year and is scheduled for commissioning in 2019.
