Interpipe

Ukrainian steel pipe producer Interpipe announced a $14 million investment to add a new threading line for OCTG with premium connections at its Interpipe NTRP mill in Dnipro. The line will have a capacity of 70,000 mt per year and is scheduled for commissioning in 2019.

Interpipe signed a 5-year contract to supply railway wheels and axles to Progress Rail Services, a Caterpillar-owned company. The first shipment of wheels has already taken place; axle shipments are planned for Q2 2017.
