Toyo Tanso to invest JPY 3.5 billion in large-diameter graphite capacity at Takuma Plant
Toyo Tanso decided to make capital investments of approximately JPY 3.5 billion to increase manufacturing capacity of large-diameter isotropic graphite products at its Takuma Plant in Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, to meet demand from the electronics sector. Operations are expected to start in August 2021.

Toyo Tanso invests ¥2.5 billion to boost SiC coated graphite capacity
Toyo Tanso announced a facility investment of approximately JPY 2.5 billion at its Technology Center in Kanonji, Kagawa Prefecture, to increase production capacity for SiC coated carbon graphite products. The new SiC manufacturing plant will raise total capacity to about 1.5 times by FY2020.
