Calavo Growers, Inc. acquired Hiperbaric's 300th high pressure processing machine, a Hiperbaric 300, to be installed in Mexico for avocado processing.

Hiperbaric celebrated its 20th anniversary and inaugurated expanded facilities in Burgos, Spain. The company is a leading manufacturer of high pressure processing (HPP) equipment for the food industry.

Ateliers Hermes Boissons (AHB), a French co-manufacturer, became the first company to invest in Hiperbaric's in-bulk HPP system, the Hiperbaric 525 Bulk, for large-scale juice processing. Juice production using the system will begin in Q1 2020.

Hiperbaric will install a Hiperbaric 525i HPP machine at HPP Belgium's new tolling facility south of Brussels, which will start operations in September 2018 to serve the Benelux and Germany.

Alantra Private Equity Fund III completed the acquisition of Hiperbaric, a Spanish engineering company focused on High Pressure Processing equipment for the food industry, together with management and co-investors. The transaction also includes the acquisition of Demasa's HPP business.

Private equity firm Alantra acquired a 70% stake in Hiperbaric, a manufacturer of high-pressure food processing technology, for €135 million. Andrés Hernando retains 30% ownership and becomes CEO.
