Jason Industries Inc. completed the sale of its fiber solutions segment to Motus Integrated Technologies for $85 million, including up to $5 million contingent on 2019 performance.

Motus Integrated Technologies, a compression molder of auto parts, is buying Janesville Fiber Solutions for $85 million.

Motus Integrated Technologies will invest over $15 million and create 90 jobs at a new manufacturing facility in Gadsden, Alabama, producing automotive interior parts and headliners. Construction is expected to start in coming weeks and conclude in mid-2020.

Shanghai Daimay Automotive Interior Co. plans to acquire the auto sun visor-related assets and businesses of US-based Motus Integrated Technologies. A binding proposal has been made, but no further details were disclosed.
