Sage Automotive Interiors

Adient has agreed to sell its automotive fabrics and lamination business to Sage Automotive Interiors, an Asahi Kasei company, for $175 million. The transaction includes 11 facilities globally and is expected to close by the end of fiscal year 2020.

Tokyo-based Asahi Kasei has announced it will acquire Sage Automotive Interiors Inc. from Clearlake Sage Holdings LLC. The cash transaction is valued at approximately $700 million, with the total acquisition price including Sage's interest-bearing debt totaling approximately $1.06 billion.

Asahi Kasei Corporation has agreed to acquire Sage Automotive Interiors, a global supplier of automotive textiles, from Clearlake Capital Group for $1.1 billion.

Asahi Kasei has decided to acquire Sage Automotive Interiors, a US-based manufacturer of automotive interior material, for approximately $700 million. An agreement was concluded with Clearlake Sage Holdings.
