VINCI Construction

Vattenfall awarded Nuvia, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, a 6-year contract to dismantle units 1 and 2 of the Ringhals nuclear power plant in Sweden. The works will be carried out from 2025 to 2031, involving removal, inspection and sorting of radioactive materials.

Lidl France awarded a contract worth about €79 million to a VINCI Construction and VINCI Energies consortium to build a logistics hub and regional headquarters in Saint-Augustin, Pas-de-Calais, France. The project includes 55,000 sq. metres of warehouse and cold storage and 4,000 sq. metres of office space, with construction scheduled to last 22 months.

VINCI Construction signed an agreement to acquire the construction companies of Northern Group of Companies, which operate in roadworks, asphalt mixes, and aggregates production in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada, for C$93 million (€65 million) in revenue. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval.

Roann Limited was appointed by Vinci Construction as the lead worktop contractor for the £130 million New Victoria residential scheme in Manchester, supplying kitchen worktops and sinks.

Elements Europe won a contract with Vinci Construction to supply 866 bathroom pods for the New Victoria mixed-use scheme in Manchester city centre. The contract was announced on February 9, 2021.

Unique Window Systems secured a contract with VINCI Construction to supply doors and a curtain walling system for the £37 million restoration of the Grade I listed Buxton Crescent into a five-star spa hotel.
