Balcke-Dürr Nuklear Service GmbH, a Mutares portfolio company, won the D05.1 Krümmel contract from Vattenfall GmbH to dismantle machine-hall components at the Krümmel nuclear power plant over about two years. The announcement is dated 4 August 2020 and the awarded package is in the low double-digit million euro range.
Hayward Tyler, owned by Avingtrans, secured a contract worth over £10 million from Sweden's Vattenfall to supply critical parts and components for the reactor internal pumps at the Forsmark nuclear reactors. Delivery is scheduled for 2020 to 2022.
Vattenfall signed a delivery and installation contract with Nordex for 32 N117/3600 turbines to expand the Wieringermeer wind farm in North Holland by 118 MW, including at least two years of service.
Vattenfall placed an official offshore wind turbine order with Siemens Gamesa for the Vesterhav Syd and Vesterhav Nord nearshore wind farms off Denmark's west coast. The order is part of a deal covering 113 turbines including Kriegers Flak, with construction expected to begin in 2019.
