Schmalz Inc.

Schmalz, a vacuum specialist from Glatten, acquired the mGrip product family from US-based Soft Robotics Inc., including all finger gripper configurations, patents, and know-how. The deal expands Schmalz's position in food product handling.

The vacuum equipment manufacturer Schmalz Group acquired UK-based Palamatic, a stainless steel vacuum lifter and crane specialist, and Sweden-based Binar Handling, an electric manipulator and rope balancer specialist.
