ÅF AB and Pöyry PLC have signed an agreement to combine, with ÅF launching a recommended public cash tender offer to purchase all shares in Pöyry at EUR 10.20 per share, valuing Pöyry at EUR 611 million.

ÅF received a design and construction contract worth approximately SEK 200 million from Stockholm Vatten och Avfall to deliver a new automation system for the Henriksdal Waste Water Treatment plant in Stockholm, Sweden. The project includes new membrane technology and a new treatment facility, scheduled to run until 2026.

ÅF acquired Eitech's automation business, which has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 90 million and 42 employees based in Umeå, Stockholm, Malmö and Gothenburg. The acquisition will be consolidated from September 1, 2017.
