Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company

Jacobs Vehicle Systems will supply compression release engine brakes across the full range of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company's K Series heavy duty engines under a long-term agreement. The brakes are manufactured at Jacobs' Suzhou facility and supplied to Yuchai's plants in Yulin and Wuhu, China.

Eberspaecher Exhaust Technology International GmbH and a subsidiary of Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Co. Ltd. signed a contract to form a joint venture, Eberspaecher Yuchai Exhaust Technology Co. Ltd., to produce and sell exhaust emission control systems for Chinese commercial vehicles. Eberspaecher holds 51% and the Yuchai subsidiary 49%. A new facility will be built in Yulin City, China.

Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company Limited began the first construction phase of the Yuchai Casting Foundry in Yuchai Industrial Park, Potong District, China. The facility will have 6 casting production lines with a total investment of RMB 960 million, and phase one will create over 1,000 jobs.

Guangxi Yuchai Machinery Company and MTU Friedrichshafen have established the 50/50 joint venture MTU Yuchai Power Co. Ltd. in Yulin, China, to produce MTU Series 4000 diesel engines under license for oil and gas and power generation industries.
