The Central Procurement Platform of China General Technology Group announced design bid candidates for the high-end CNC machining center production line construction project of Shenyang Machine Tool Zhongjie Friendship Factory Co., Ltd. Machinery Industry Sixth Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. ranked first with a bid of 1.72 million yuan.

China General Technology (Group) Holding Co. (Genertec) is considering acquiring Kellenberger, a Swiss maker of high-precision grinding, milling and turning machines, from US private equity owner Centre Lane Partners for about $400 million. The consideration is ongoing and may not lead to a transaction.
