Sino-Shell Petrochemicals published a shortlist for the purchase of ethylene feed, booster and hydrogen recycle compressors for the phase III Huizhou ethylene project's LAO unit. Shenyang Yuanda Compressor ranked first with a bid of CNY 47,895,200, and Shenyang Turbo Machinery ranked second.
Zigong Dongfang General Compressor ranked first among shortlisted bidders for a CNOOC Zhanjiang reciprocating compressor tender for the Weizhou oilfield group, with a bid of CNY 5,760,000 including VAT. The shortlist was published on 26 April 2024 for public comment until 29 April.
Burckhardt Compression signed the contract to acquire the remaining 40% stake in Shenyang Yuanda Compressor, a China-based compressor maker with about 650 employees, on January 25, 2021. Closing was expected within two weeks, and the purchase price was not disclosed.
A newly commissioned Shenyang plant of Burckhardt Compression's Chinese unit, with 86,000 m2 of production area on 153,000 m2 of land, replaces two older city-centre sites. Operations are set to begin at the end of September 2020.
Burckhardt Compression signed a memorandum of understanding to buy the remaining 40% of Chinese compressor maker Shenyang Yuanda Compressor, which it has partly owned since 2016. It plans to exercise the call option in November 2020 and finance the deal with a Swiss bond.
Burckhardt Compression says a new Shenyang Yuanda Compressor plant in Shenyang, China, will be operational in fall 2020, consolidating two existing plants at a larger site after the old site was converted to residential use.
