The combined Konecranes/Demag team signed a three-year service and maintenance contract for ArcelorMittal Saldanha Steel Mill in South Africa, requiring a supervisor and four technical teams on site.

Konecranes finalized its worldwide acquisition of Terex MHPS, which includes Demag Cranes, Hoists, Material Handling and Ports Solutions. The combined entity will share technology and target synergies of EUR 140 million per year within three years.

Integrated Logistics Company has signed an order for 12 Demag all-terrain cranes, including two AC 130-5, four AC 160-5, and six AC 300-6 models.

Konecranes is acquiring Terex's Material Handling & Port Solutions division, which includes the Demag and Gottwald brands, for approximately EUR 1.1 billion. The deal was agreed in May 2016 and has received EU and US approval.
