Konecranes finalized its acquisition of Terex MHPS, which includes Demag Cranes, Hoists, Material Handling and Port Solutions. The combined entity aims to become a focused global leader in industrial lifting and port solutions.

Konecranes finalized its worldwide acquisition of Terex MHPS, which includes Demag Cranes, Hoists, Material Handling and Ports Solutions. The combined entity will share technology and target synergies of EUR 140 million per year within three years.

MHE-Demag, a joint venture between Terex MHPS GmbH and Jebsen & Jessen, opened its largest crane manufacturing and warehouse facility in Bukit Raja, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. The RM45 million plant has a capacity of 200,000 production hours per year and can build cranes up to 50-metre span.
