Kion Group will rebrand its Dematic, Egemin Automation, and NDC Automation units under the single Dematic brand starting in 2018, creating a unified global brand for warehouse automation solutions.

Dematic, a Kion Group company, announced plans to integrate Retrotech, Inc. into its organization as a division of Dematic North America Customer Service. Retrotech was acquired by Kion Group in March 2016. The integration is targeted for completion in 2017.

Agristo is teaming up with Egemin Automation to build a new fully automated high-bay deepfreeze warehouse in Wielsbeke, Belgium. The warehouse will accommodate 50,000 pallets (35,000 tons of frozen fries) and is due to go into operation in autumn 2017.
