Hitachi Rail STS wins AED 1.6bn signalling contract for Etihad Rail Stage 2

Hitachi Rail STS has been awarded a AED 1.6 billion (€400 million) contract by Etihad Rail to design, build and integrate a modern signalling system on a new 605 km freight line connecting Fujairah port to the Saudi border. The project is expected to take about three and a half years.
