SK Engineering & Construction contracted Siemens to supply power island equipment for a 1GW combined cycle IPP project by Yeoju Energy Services in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea.

Transport for London named the Riverlinx consortium as preferred bidder for the design, build, finance and maintain contract for the $1.3 billion Silvertown highway tunnel under the River Thames in East London. Construction is due to start in 2019 and end in 2025.

Advanced Petrochemical Co. awarded a $350.6 million engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract to SK Engineering & Construction for a 400,000 metric tons per annum polypropylene plant in Ulsan, South Korea. The contract was signed on Dec. 21, 2018 by Ulsan Polypropylene Ltd., a joint venture between SK Advanced Ltd. and PolyMirae Ltd.

TechnipFMC was awarded a large contract (between $500M and $1B) by Long Son Petrochemicals for licensing, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and start-up of Vietnam's first olefins plant on Long Son Island, with capacity up to 1.6 million tons per year.
