TMC Compressors won work to supply the marine compressed air system for the Sangomar FPSO, which MODEC provides for Woodside Energy at the Sangomar field in Senegal. The system will be built in Europe and delivered to COSCO's Dalian shipyard in China.
Klingele Paper & Packaging Group is building a corrugated sheet plant in the Diamniadio industrial estate near Dakar, Senegal, with production expected in summer 2022 and about 45 jobs. The EUR 7.5 million investment is partly financed by DEG.
Modec ordered six compressor trains from MAN Energy Solutions for the Sangomar field offshore Senegal, with ready-for-installation expected in Q4 2021. The contract value was not disclosed.

Woodside awarded Subsea Integration Alliance an EPCI contract covering SURF and subsea production systems for Phase 1 of the deepwater Sangomar field off Senegal, with production expected to start in early 2023. OneSubsea will supply wellhead and subsea tree systems.
Subsea 7 announced that Woodside awarded the Subsea Integration Alliance the SURF and subsea production systems contract for the Sangomar Field Development Phase 1 offshore Senegal, after final investment decision. The project includes 23 wells and offshore work from 2021 to 2023; the value was not disclosed.
Vestas signed an EPC contract to supply, install and commission 46 V126-3.45 MW turbines for the 159 MW Parc Eolien Taiba N'Diaye wind project in Senegal, along with a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement. The project is the first large utility-scale wind project in Senegal and the largest wind project in West Africa.
