Nexchip Semiconductor

Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation has agreed to acquire Hefei Jingyi Integrated Circuits Co., Ltd. for CNY 0 and will invest a total of CNY 1.98 billion in the company through a capital increase.

Nexchip Semiconductor began construction of its Phase IV project in Hefei, Anhui, China, with a total investment of CNY 35.5 billion. The facility will include a 12-inch wafer foundry production line with a capacity of 55,000 wafers per month, targeting 40nm and 28nm processes.
