Flowserve said it supplied pumps, valves and seals to Pfizer to support COVID-19 vaccine production, including replacing a mechanical mixer seal on a vaccine line at Pfizer's Kalamazoo, Michigan plant. The announcement was made on 1 March 2021.

Harro Höfliger is building a high-performance vial packaging line at its Backnang site for delivery to Pfizer's Belgian production plant. The line will carton, label and serialise vaccine vials.

Corning and Pfizer announced a long-term, multiyear purchase and supply agreement for Corning Valor Glass vials for a portion of Pfizer's marketed drug products, pending regulatory approval. The release is dated 28 May 2020.

GEA supplied fully automated tablet and capsule production equipment, including continuous blending technology, that has transformed Pfizer's Freiburg, Germany plant into a smart factory.

Corning will develop Corning Valor Glass with Merck and Pfizer, and is expected to expand its facilities and build a new glass plant with an estimated investment of $500 million. The location was not stated.

ICU Medical Inc. completed its acquisition of Pfizer's Hospira Infusion Systems business, which includes IV pumps, solutions and devices. The deal adds a complete IV therapy portfolio and a broader global footprint.
