Cameco and Brookfield Asset Management entered a binding term sheet with the US Department of Commerce to establish a strategic partnership to accelerate global deployment of Westinghouse nuclear reactors. The agreement provides for US government financing and permitting for new reactors with an aggregate investment value of at least US$80 billion.
