Heidelberg Materials North America has entered into a definitive purchase agreement to acquire Giant Cement Holding Inc., including an 800,000-tonne-per-year cement plant in Harleyville, South Carolina, two deep-water import terminals, five distribution terminals, and an alternative fuel recycling business.
