CRH is acquiring Volyn Cement and Yugcement from Buzzi in Ukraine for EUR 100 million. The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine conducted a market test on 1 August 2024 as a step toward finalizing the deal.

Buzzi SpA received notification of the exercise of a put option by Grupo Ricardo Brennand for its 50% stake in NCPAR (formerly BCPAR), the joint venture through which Buzzi operates in Brazil. Buzzi will acquire 100% control of NCPAR, which owns five integrated cement plants and two grinding centres with over 7.2 million tpy capacity. The transaction is subject to CADE approval and is expected to close by end of fiscal year.
