Contract signed for $220M cement factory in Jabal al-Saraj, Afghanistan
The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum of Afghanistan signed a 30-year contract with Alfalah ul Alamai (AUA), Awfi Bahram, and Al-Maham International Group from Qatar to build a new cement factory in Jabal al-Saraj district, Parwan province. The $220 million project will produce over one million tons of cement annually and create 5,000 direct jobs.
