Jiangsu Sopo plans VAM and EVA plants in Zhenjiang
Jiangsu Sopo Chemical plans to build a VAM plant (330,000 t/yr) and an EVA plant (300,000 t/yr) in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu. The VAM plant is estimated at $512 million and the EVA plant at $624 million. Construction of the VAM plant is expected within three years, and the EVA plant within five years after approval.
