Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials

Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Sanwei Co., received approval to start construction on the second phase of a BDO and degradable plastic integrated project in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia. The total investment for the second phase is 14.8 billion yuan, including 700,000 tons/year BDO, 500,000 tons/year PBAT, and other products. Phase I is already in trial operation.

Inner Mongolia Sanwei New Materials, a subsidiary of Zhejiang Sanwei Rubber Products, received project备案 for a 90,000-tonne/year BDO and biodegradable plastics integrated project in Wuhai, Inner Mongolia. The total investment is CNY 13.066 billion (approx. USD 2 billion), with construction planned from August 2021 to December 2026.
