PI USA signed a construction contract for a new 119,575 sq ft production facility in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, three times the space of its current US sites combined. From 2025, PI will manufacture motion and precision positioning components and piezo applications for the North American market at this facility.

Physik Instrumente (PI) has restructured and expanded its hexapod production at its Karlsruhe site, increasing capacities and reducing lead times, as part of a company-wide investment program of over €63 million.
