Kohler Energy

Platinum Equity has become the majority owner of Kohler Energy, a separate company established from Kohler's generator division. Kohler Company remains an investment partner. The deal value was not disclosed.

Bain Capital Private Equity agreed to sell a stake in US LBM, a specialty building materials distributor, to Platinum Equity, giving both firms equal ownership. The transaction is expected to close by Q1 2024.
