Almek announced a supply contract worth 168.5 billion KRW for electric vehicle battery module cases with BlueOvalSK, a joint venture between SK On and Ford. Deliveries are scheduled from 2026 to 2030.

Almek is investing in a new production corporation in the Montgomery area of Alabama, USA, together with a logistics corporation, expected to be fully operational in 2026 with an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons.

Almek signed a 10.7 billion KRW contract to supply electric vehicle platform frame parts to US company KENONA, with deliveries from February 2024 to October 2024. A total of 106.9 billion KRW in parts is to be delivered by 2030.

Almek signed a partnership agreement with Lucid USA to supply electric vehicle platform frames for Lucid's new 'Gravity' model. The five-year contract (2024-2029) is valued at 206.4 billion KRW ($206.4 million), and beta product supply has begun.
