Summit Materials completed the acquisition of Argos USA Corporation from Cementos Argos S.A. and others for $3.2 billion in a cash and stock transaction, announced on September 7, 2023 and completed on January 11, 2024.

Summit Materials agreed to acquire the U.S. operations of Colombia's Cementos Argos for about $3.2 billion in cash and stock, adding four cement plants in the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Texas.
