Cementos Argos

Caltek, a joint venture between Cementos Argos and Grupo Calidra, inaugurated a new lime production plant in Puerto Triunfo, Antioquia, Colombia. The plant has a capacity of 90,000 tonnes per year and required an investment of over 113 billion Colombian pesos.

HeidelbergCement has agreed to sell its plant in Martinsburg, West Virginia, and eight terminals to Cementos Argos for US$660 million. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.
