WCP announced a 99.9 billion KRW investment in its Hungarian subsidiary W-SCOPE HUNGARY PLANT Kft. for expansion of the Hungary plant. After the investment, its shareholding ratio will be 100%.

South Korean battery separator manufacturer WCP signed a long-term contract with Samsung SDI to supply approximately 4 billion square meters of battery separators from 2023 to 2027. The contract is valued at around 5 trillion KRW (US$4 billion), primarily for cylindrical EV batteries.
