Hyosung TNC has begun supplying its eco-friendly MIPAN regen robic high-strength nylon yarn to outdoor backpack brand Osprey since Q1 2020.

Hyosung TNC has launched an athleisure mask in collaboration with brand Andar, using its Creora Fresh spandex and Aerosilver polyester fabrics with deodorizing and antibacterial properties.

Hyosung TNC began supplying its MIPAN regen robic high-strength recycled nylon fiber to Osprey, the world's leading outdoor backpack brand, for use in Osprey's flagship Talon/Tempest series starting spring 2021.

Hyosung TNC has started production at its bio-BDO plant in Vietnam, built with an investment of nearly $1 billion. The plant uses sugarcane feedstock and Genomatica's technology to produce bio-BDO, with an initial capacity of 50,000 tons per year, scaling to 200,000 tons.

Hyosung TNC Co. announced plans to build a spandex manufacturing facility in India next year, aiming for a 70% market share in the country. Specific timeframe and investment value were not mentioned.
