Vedanta Foxconn Semiconductor Ltd resubmitted an application to build a semiconductor fab in India, with an investment of approximately Rs 1.5 lakh crore. Production is scheduled to start in early 2027 with 5,000 wafers per month, scaling to 40,000 wafers per month.
