Macopharma

The international Macopharma group GMPi acquired German company Lmb Technologie, a provider of blood sector equipment. The acquisition aims to strengthen Macopharma's range of blood component processing solutions and expand its market presence in Europe, America, and the Middle East.

Macopharma invested €5 million in automation of its blood filter production line at its Tourcoing headquarters, doubling capacity. The new machine, co-developed with an Italian supplier, will produce 1,000 filters per hour and is expected to start operating in summer 2023.
