Svilosa

Svilosa announced an investment of BGN 25.67 million to construct a microcrystalline cellulose production plant at its site in Bulgaria, creating 40 new jobs.

Jinan Boiler Group is constructing a $50 million biomass power plant at the Svilosa cellulose plant in Svishtov, Bulgaria, to convert industrial biomass waste into electricity. It is the first Chinese-built power plant in Bulgaria and the first EU biomass project for Jinan Boiler Group.
