The EBRD is financing Bulgarian manufacturer Biomashinostroene with a EUR 4.5 million loan to expand its operations, including three new assembly workshops and warehouses, to increase production and sales by 50% over six years.

The EBRD is providing a €4.5 million loan to Biomashinostroene, a Bulgarian manufacturer of steel equipment for food-processing, pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The company will invest in three new assembly workshops and warehouses to boost capacity.

Biomashinostroene, a Bulgarian manufacturer of heat exchangers and vessels for the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, announced a six-year EUR 10 million investment program to double production and revenue. The program includes building a new plant on 32 decares of land near Plovdiv and purchasing new metalworking machines.
