Liebherr Maritime Cranes, working with ISO Ltd and Piener Smag Lifting Technologies, developed a timber handling solution for the ports of Tauranga and Gisborne. A contract was signed for four LHM 550 cranes and six Smag timber grabs, with delivery and installation completed by September 2020.

A further contract was signed for two more LHM 550 mobile harbour cranes and three more SMAG timber grabs for ISO Limited in New Zealand.

ISO Group, a Netherlands-based horticulture automation solutions company, will invest $570,000 to establish its first U.S. assembly and distribution facility in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The project will create 30 new jobs over five years.
