Suminoe Textile Co., Ltd.

Suminoe Textile inaugurated its third expansion in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, with a $19 million investment creating 150 jobs. Operations are expected to start in Q1 2024.

Suminoe Textile's Mexican subsidiary, Suminoe Textile de Mexico, began construction of a new synthetic leather manufacturing line and building in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, with an investment of approximately 3 billion yen. Mass production is scheduled to begin in June 2024.
