Shriram Pistons & Rings

Shriram Pistons & Rings Limited completed the acquisition of Antolin Lighting India Private Limited and Grupo Antolin India Private Limited from Grupo Antolin-Irausa, S.A.U. and Grupo Antolin-Ingenieria Sau for approximately INR 16.7 billion on a debt-free, cash-free basis.

Shriram Pistons and Rings, through its subsidiary SPR Ingenious Limited, will acquire a 75% shareholding in Takahata Precision India Private Limited, a Japanese injection moulding company. The acquisition is subject to approvals.

Shriram Pistons & Rings, through its wholly-owned subsidiary SPR Engenious, will acquire a majority stake in EMF Innovations, an electric motor design and manufacturing firm, to enter the EV space. The deal value was not disclosed.
