Valeo signed a contract worth nearly $1 billion with Mahindra to supply electric drives for Mahindra's 'Born Electric' SUVs, with production to take place near Mahindra's facility in Pune, India.

Mahindra Group will invest an additional Rs 100 crore in its Zaheerabad, Telangana plant to manufacture the new K2 series of tractors, doubling the workforce to 3,000 by 2024.

Mahindra Powerol, a unit of the Mahindra Group, launched a new range of high-power diesel generators (400/500/625 kVA) powered by Perkins 2000 series engines, designed at Mahindra Research Valley and manufactured at its Chakan plant.

Mahindra USA is planning to set up a greenfield tractor manufacturing facility in the US within 3-5 years to cater to growing demand and localize production, moving into the up to 160 hp tractor segment.
