Elektroshchit

Elektroshchit will build a transformer manufacturing plant in Ingushetia, Russia, with an investment of 1 billion rubles. The plant will have capacity of up to 5,000 transformers per year and create 150 jobs.

Akron Holding from Tolyatti reached a preliminary agreement to acquire Elektroshchit and its Samara division Russkiy Transformer from Schneider Electric. The deal involves full integration of Elektroshchit into Akron Holding, including assumption of all liabilities.
